Jumping Figure 8

Rider enters the arena, races across the timer line. Race Clock begins when timer light beam is broken the 1st time. Race ends when light beam is broken the 2nd time.

Rider runs and jumps over the post, go around barrel 2 on the back side and around 1 on the front side to the back and then to the front of 2. Then to the back of 3 and around to the back of 2 and down and over the post and to the gate.

Pattern may be approached from left or right side of barrel.  Knocking over or refusal of the jump is a disqualification. 

Pee Wee's do not jump.

Riders may not run through gate entering arena

Rider-Up (waiting to ride next) and Rider-on-Deck (waiting to ride second next)

PLEASE be ready & waiting in On-Deck Area.


Winner rides the correct pattern in the least amount of time.

There is a 5 second penalty for each barrel or pole knocked to the ground.

Disqualification: Break pattern or violate *basic LSC rules. Failure to attempt the jump.
